After reading all the great reviews about Doo's Amazing Tours. It was really a no brainer which company to pick.
Thanks Doo for your training. As a first time Segway pilot, your patience inspired confidence that we could ride these transporters. Your knowledge of the city kept the tour informative and fun, it was really a blessing to have you as our tour guide.
Thanks again, Bryant & Dannella

08/01/2015 I had the best surprise of my adult life! My birthday was Sunday the 2nd and my amazing boyfriend planned a kayak trip for me with friends. There were 4 kayaks total. 3 doubles and John had the single. We dropped in just off the side of the Howard Franklin before the on ramp. We kayaked through the mangroves and best part, it rained the whole time!! While this may not be the ideal situation for everyone to go kayaking, it made our trip that much more of an adventure and John was very knowledgeable about the weather and how to handle it. I could not recommend a better person for any tour let alone kayaking!! Book a trip NOW!!

We lucked out and found this deal on groupon for Doo’s Amazing Tours for the Bike Tour at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. I honestly thought it was just going to be a quick bike ride and had no idea the amazingness we were in store for!
John and his wife “Doo” own this tour business. He explained how they quit their jobs to start this company and I can tell you this is the best thing they did. Not only was this tour a blast, but you get much more than then you pay for. John has a super fun personality and he’s so knowledgeable about everything along the tour. He showed us all of the varieties of butterflies in the preserve, showed us all of the rescued birds they care for (Screech owl by far the cutest!!!), had us stop along the way to see the baby alligators, tortoises, different trees, etc.
Some Good Notes About Doo’s: The tour lasted a little over 2 hours and if you’re worried about it being too strenuous - don’t because my 67 year old father completed it. The awesome thing is John takes breaks to show you everything along the preserve and the 5 eco-systems within it. There are cold water stops along the way to fill up your water bottle as well. Another thing that really made a lasting impression is that he truly cares about the customers – he brought us cold water bottles, bug spray, sun block and made sure we had comfortable bikes.
Some Not So Good Notes: First time in my reviewing history I got nothing!
Bottom Line: This tour really was AMAZING and completely lives up to the company name. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan on doing all of the tours they offer! Thank you John!!!! This was great family fun and we look forward to trying the Segway tour next!

My husband and I loved the 2-hour historic segway tour of St Pete. We learned to operate the segways so quickly. Doo was great. We learned a lot about an area that is close to home for us. The tour was the highlight of a relaxing, fun weekend in St Pete!

Louisa (Doo), you were amazing. We had so much fun and you were a delight. You are so knowledgeable of the St Pete area and we enjoyed your very professional delivery of all the information. You let us know that you were interested in us and it showed. The Tour was You and Us and it was wonderful. That dolphin taking that fish right under my feet at the wall---made my day. Awesome. We enjoyed you so much and we will highly recommend your Tours, for sure.

Louisa was amazing! She was patient most of all with two "young" ladies and we had a blast. Never thinking that this would be the way to tour a city, it is really the only way to go. It was personal, informative and fun. A bus ride is fine, but you see much more on the Segways, and up close too. Now that we had such a good lesson, we are ready to tour Barcelona this summer without worry. Thank you so very much Louisa for a wonderful day. We took your advice and went to the Vinoy for wine and a delicious meat and cheese platter. I'll be back with more guests and maybe even to kayak!

It was the most unexpectedly great time! Doo had my sons and I safely operating our Segways in no time at all, while learning about the history of St. Petersburg as well! Will definitely be back for the kayaking and to bring my wife on a Segway tour.

We had a blast! Traveling as the only adult and 4 kids ranging from 10-13....this couldn't have turned out any better. We chose the 1 hour Segway tour. The kids took to it like fish to water....and I even figured it out (which is saying a lot for this uncoordinated gal)! We toured downtown St. Pete along the bay, Pier and a few parks. Learned a lot of information from insider history tidbits to great restaurants. Doo was FANTASTIC with the kids and adults alike. Loved it and will do it again!!

My son and I had a great time on our Segway tour with Doo. I have lived in Tampa Bay area for 35 years and we went to places I had never seen and learned about thing I never knew about the area. This tour was probably the best money spent on our spring break stay cation. Thanks Doo!

We had so much fun, saw close to 20 manatees. The tour guides were probably the best part. They knew so much and made it quite the experience. Loved every second of it. Thanks guys. See you next time: )

My family and I are visiting our daughter here in St. Petersburg from Colorado and went on the Spring River tour using paddleboards. It was an amazing experience! The water is super clear and we got to see many fish, turtles and even two Manatees. We also stopped to swing off the rope swing. I would highly reccommend Doo's Amazing Tours!

My husband and I were vacationing in the Clearwater area looking for something new and different. We saw Doo's Tours was highly rated on Trip Advisor, so we decided to do the 2 hour historic tour in St. Petersburg. We had an absolute blast! Doo gave us lots of history on the area and some of the local historical gossip as well, which was a hoot. We stopped along the way to check out some of the sights at the Dali museum, watched the dolphins play in the water and was happy to stop and take pictures of us along the way. We'd highly recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to visit again and possibly do a kayak tour next time!

We took the Historical Tour of downtown St. Pete. What an amazing way to learn about a towns history but on a segway.
We had a great tour guide. This is surprisingly easy to learn and so much fun. We would recomment this to everyone. We will definitely be doing this again!!

Did the 1.5 hour kayak tour and had an amazing time! our guide was very patient and fun. It was the perfect tour for us being we weren't experience kayakers. Our tour guide told us all about the histrory of the area and showed us a variety of wildlife, we even saw some ancient native american burial mounds. Thanks Doo for a fun time!
